Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN Nights

About This Role

This Registered Nurse (RN) position involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care in a rehabilitation setting. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and providing comprehensive patient care, including interdisciplinary and discharge planning, patient/family education, and accessing community resources.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning
• Lead discharge planning
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Access community resources
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Functioning as Charge Nurse (if ACLS certified)

Requirements

• RN License in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
• Higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines
• 2 years of experience in direct patient care
