Registered Nurse (RN)

About This Role

This Registered Nurse (RN) position involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care within the nursing unit. The role focuses on interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family education for post-hospitalization, with opportunities for growth and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, including interdisciplinary planning
• Conduct discharge planning for patients
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Access community resources for patients
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse responsibilities

Requirements

• RN License in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
• Higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.
• 2 years of experience in direct patient care
