Registered Nurse (RN)

About This Role

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care and supervise others in a rehabilitation hospital. This role involves utilizing the nursing process, interdisciplinary planning, and patient/family education.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
• Perform interdisciplinary planning
• Conduct discharge planning for patients
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization care
• Access community resources for patients
• Perform duties as Charge Nurse if ACLS certified

Requirements

• RN License in the state of application
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• Experience in emergency or critical care environments
• Comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines
• 2 years of experience in direct patient care
