Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room at Tiffin Hospital by assessing patient status, determining priorities, implementing clinical interventions, and developing comprehensive care plans to improve outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status
- Determine the priority of the patient’s problems and needs
- Implement clinical nursing interventions
- Develop and perform patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high intensity setting as part of an interprofessional team
- Evaluate, update and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes
- Serve as point of contact for patients' care coordination throughout hospital departments
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and organizational policies
Requirements
- 1 year of professional experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current state RN licensure
- BLS certification
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- One (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Nice to Have
- Recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experience
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
- EPIC Electronic Health Record training
