Responsibilities

• Process scheduling for patient appointments
• Handle patient pre-registration procedures
• Verify patient insurance coverage
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the health care revenue cycle

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations
• Typing speed of 35 wpm with accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)

Qualifications

• High school education

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with personal computers
• Prior registration experience in a hospital setting
• Completion of medical terminology course
