Responsibilities
- Process scheduling for patient appointments
- Handle patient pre-registration procedures
- Verify patient insurance coverage
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the health care revenue cycle
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations
- Typing speed of 35 wpm with accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
Qualifications
- High school education
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with personal computers
- Prior registration experience in a hospital setting
- Completion of medical terminology course
