About This Role

This position leads all acute care nursing services at Clermont Hospital, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with hospital policies and standards. The role also involves achieving financial and strategic objectives for nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in a changing environment, focusing on stabilization of daily operational issues while aligning with the Strategic Plan and Best Practice principles
  • Assume 24-hour responsibility and accountability for the delivery of professional nursing care and allocation of resources for assigned areas
  • Achieve clinical outcomes, productivity measures, and adherence to nursing practice standards
  • Implement quality improvement plans to achieve continuous improvements using measurable monitoring tools and processes
  • Cultivate a culture that embraces and exemplifies nursing professional practice and leadership excellence
  • Ensure fiscal accountability to design and achieve budget through cost reductions and revenue enhancements
  • Create quality initiatives that support competency of resources, safe environment, regulatory expectations, and risk reduction
  • Develop manpower plans based on objective data and standardize safe staffing plans
  • Collaborate with finance and site leadership to design and achieve budget-revenue targets
  • Advance the practice of nursing by implementing best practice interventions and using data measures to improve clinical outcomes

Requirements

  • BSN
  • OH RN license or eligible to transfer
  • 5+ years related experience
  • 3-5 years management and/or leading others experience

Qualifications

  • BSN required/MSN preferred
  • 5+ years related experience including 3-5 years' management and/or leading others

Nice to Have

  • MSN
  • Experience with the complexities of managing in a non-union environment with labor relations experience and union avoidance strategies
