Registered Nurse (RN) - Breast

About This Role

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a breast care clinical setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient responses. Collaborate with providers and ensure continuity of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide office-based nursing care in collaboration with provider
• Assess physical and psychosocial needs and environmental factors affecting patients and their families
• Formulate nursing plan of care and ensure continuity of patient care through appropriate nursing evaluation and intervention
• Demonstrate independent nursing actions based on assessment and problem identification
• Triage telephone calls and initiate appropriate nursing intervention promptly, precisely, and professionally
• Assist patients and family members or other clients with concern and empathy, respecting confidentiality and privacy
• Travel to other regional offices as needed within the Fairfield Region

Requirements

• Current state of Connecticut RN license
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a medical practice preferred
