Registered Nurse

About This Role

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care in an inpatient setting. This role involves utilizing the nursing process, interdisciplinary planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning
• Facilitate discharge planning
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization
• Access community resources
• May perform other related duties as assigned or requested
• May serve as Charge Nurse (requires ACLS certification)

Requirements

• RN License in the state of application
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification (required after 90 days of employment, or from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU positions)

Qualifications

• Entry level with one year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
• Higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines
• 2 years of direct patient care experience
