Registered Nurse

About This Role

This Registered Nurse (RN) position provides total care for residents, monitoring their condition, administering medications, and overseeing nursing assistant staff in a rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents
• Monitor resident condition and needs
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders
• Ensure narcotic policies and procedures are followed
• Monitor for side effects and report changes in resident condition
• Oversee nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure care plan adherence
• Complete documentation, admit and discharge residents
• Report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect found
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations
• Uphold facility policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues

Requirements

• RN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations
• Desire to work with the elderly

Nice to Have

• Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing
