About This Role

Provide primary care to a complex medicine patient population on a 32-bed telemetry and general medicine unit. Utilize the nursing process and standards of nursing care while directly supervising unlicensed personnel.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide primary care to complex medicine patients
• Directly supervise unlicensed personnel
• Utilize bedside report, geographical nursing, and hourly rounding as standards of nursing care

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license (for NCLEX passers)
• Pass NCLEX for Michigan RN licensure within 45 days (for GN applicants)

Nice to Have

• BSN
• 6 months of RN experience (inpatient preferred)
• Telemetry experience
• 3-5 years experience with adult internal medicine/MFH patients
• Demonstrated experience in leadership roles, charge nurse and /or preceptor
• Demonstrated positive, effective professional communication skills
• Demonstrated time management and problem solving skills
