About This Role

Join Hartford Hospital's Medicine Intensive Care Unit to provide critical care to patients with complex medical issues, utilizing advanced technologies. This role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license, supported by research, innovation, and evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with a wide range of complex, highly acute medical issues
• Utilize a variety of advanced technologies and devices including CRRT and ECMO
• Practice at the top of your license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices
• Complete the Nurse Residency program (for graduate RNs with less than one year of experience)
• Contribute to an environment focused on supporting colleagues and professional growth

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN License
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• BSN Required
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association

Qualifications

• BSN Required
• Minimum one year acute care Registered Nurse experience strongly preferred; graduate nurses encouraged to apply.

Nice to Have

• Minimum one year acute care Registered Nurse experience
