About This Role

This role offers an opportunity to work in a diverse environment at Te Kuiti Hospital, covering inpatient wards, emergency departments, outpatients, and community work. The Registered Nurse will provide patient-centered care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient centred care
• Apply Best Practice and adhere to organisational PPPGs
• Work effectively in a team with the ability to lead
• Maintain motivation for ongoing learning
• Work concurrently in the ward and emergency department
• Potentially work in the community supporting District Nursing or outpatient clinics

Requirements

• Ability to critically think
• Advanced IV care
• Ability to work with a diverse team
• Compassion and ability to genuinely engage with patients and whanau
• Good assessment skills
• Good communication skills
