About This Role

Elderwood at Lancaster is hosting a "Careers in Care" event to recruit Registered Nurses, LPNs, CNAs, and other clinical professionals for their skilled nursing facility. The event offers on-the-spot interviews and immediate consideration for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring the general health and well-being of residents by providing direct nursing care (RN)
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, assess, and evaluate the care of residents to ensure quality care and regulatory compliance (RN)
• Manage the daily clinical regimen of each resident and sub-acute patient (LPN)
• Provide personal and nursing care to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents (CNA)

Requirements

• Appropriate certificate and license in New York State (RN, LPN, CNA, PT, SLO, OT, COTA, RT)
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
• Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others
• Caring, respectful attitude toward residents
• Physical stamina for constant activity
• Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence
• Demonstrated willingness to uphold the vision and mission of the company
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level

Nice to Have

• Long-term care experience (RNs)
• Leadership experience in long-term care settings (RN Supervisors, Unit Managers, ADON)
• Passion for teamwork and skilled nursing (LPNs & CNAs)
