Provide empathetic and compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis center. Build long-term relationships while delivering specialized nursing care and contributing to a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care to patients dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in an outpatient dialysis center
- Build meaningful and long term relationships with patients and their family
- Deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities requiring unique treatment plans
- Leverage a broad range of nursing skills and knowledge
- Oversee a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- Conduct patient observations, measuring stats, and machine set up
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing or equivalent
- Full vaccinations against COVID-19 or approved medical/religious exemption
- Flexible schedule to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
- Dialysis experience is not required
