About This Role

Lead a group of independent direct store delivery distributors to advance good2grow sales within the assigned Chicago geography. This role involves developing business plans, managing P&L, penetrating new accounts, and coaching team members.

Responsibilities

  • Execute business plans for assigned targets and objectives by leading distributors using Systematic Distributor Management
  • Penetrate all levels of the direct store delivery network including brand managers, sales leaders, and distributor ownership
  • Implement and maintain Annual Distributor Business Planning and Fiscal Budgeting with assigned distributors
  • Manage a territory P&L and deliver agreed upon volume and market share objectives for good2grow
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly joint business alignment meetings to review objectives, KPIs, and scorecards with distributors
  • Own the accurate and timely sales forecasting process for assigned geography and customers
  • Participate in distributor training, sales meeting presentations, and ride-alongs
  • Develop larger chains, local chains, and the independent market
  • Increase good2grow store presence through kid's eye level shelving and multiple points of interruption
  • Grow the number of good2grow SKUs available by closing voids and presenting new items to in-store management
  • Call directly on specified regional chain groups and manage third-party broker resources
  • Use VIP Karma app to track, audit, follow up, and execute store visits
  • Communicate with key influencers within distributor organizations on promotional execution, distribution opportunities, and overall gold standard store level objectives
  • Complete all administrative duties, including expense submission and weekly planner updates
  • Manage chargebacks, deductions, unsalable, and logistics to Company standards
  • Direct and manage employee activity, promoting an environment where employees can thrive
  • Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including monitoring individual employee performance and completing reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of sales, merchandising, direct store delivery, or supplier sales experience (Consumer packaged goods industry preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Skilled at presenting in front of groups
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • Reside in Chicago

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of sales, merchandising, direct store delivery, or supplier sales experience (Consumer packaged goods industry preferred)
