About This Role

This role involves full-cycle SaaS sales for a revolutionary medical billing AI product, focusing on dermatology practices. The Regional Sales Manager will act as a consultant to diagnose financial inefficiencies and present Max AI's solution to drive financial transformation for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire sales lifecycle from cold prospecting private practices and PE-backed groups to closing deals
  • Run technical demos and negotiate contracts
  • Act as a trusted consultant to diagnose financial leaks in practices (e.g., denial rates, under-coding)
  • Prescribe Max AI's software as the solution, articulating ROI in terms of "days in A/R" and "net collection ratio"
  • Work closely with the Product/Engineering team to relay customer feedback (payer-specific rules, integration blockers, feature requests)
  • Ensure seamless handover to implementation post-sale to guarantee the promised financial lift
  • Rapidly test value propositions, adapting based on market response (e.g., "Automated Billing" vs. "Automated Chart Review")
  • Consistently engage with Practice Managers and Billers to understand daily workflow friction
  • Proactively identify revenue leakage for clients even before signing
  • Stay ahead of changing billing rules (e.g., 2025 PBM reforms, new CPT modifiers)

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of Dermatology Pharmaceutical Sales experience (e.g., AbbVie, Galderma, LEO Pharma, Incyte)
  • Active, warm Rolodex of dermatologists and practice managers in the target territory
  • Existing relationships to bypass gatekeepers and secure meetings with decision-makers immediately
  • Experience discussing access (Prior Auths, Step Therapy, Buy-and-Bill) and not just clinical efficacy
  • Understanding of the administrative burden of the front office
  • Direct Dermatology Experience (familiarity with specific derm codes like Mohs surgery, biopsies, destruction of lesions)
  • Track record of managing a high-frequency call plan (6-10 office visits/day)

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of Dermatology Pharmaceutical Sales experience

Nice to Have

  • Willingness to learn AI Agents and a new pitch focusing on billing rather than biology
  • Familiarity with RCM pain points (Claim Denials, J-Codes, Co-Pay Accumulators)
  • Experience launching new products or indications
