About This Role

This role is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Flexicon's presence in the East North Central region by building customer relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing technical equipment sales for bulk material handling solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue within an assigned territory by developing new business and expanding existing accounts
  • Meet directly with customers, prospects, and manufacturers’ representatives to understand application needs and recommend solutions
  • Develop and present quotations, proposals, and sales strategies tailored to customer requirements
  • Review technical and engineering specifications and coordinate responses with internal teams
  • Maintain consistent follow-up on leads and customer inquiries
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Applications Engineering, and Marketing teams at Flexicon headquarters
  • Travel extensively (up to 85%) to support customer engagement and territory growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in technical or industrial equipment field sales
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in engineering, business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in technical or industrial equipment field sales
