Regional Beverage Director

About This Role

The Regional Beverage Director will lead and implement Legends Global's beverage program across multiple venues, focusing on education, menu development, profitability management, and fostering relationships with distributors and suppliers. This role ensures high standards in beverage service, maximizes profitability, enhances guest experience, and integrates sponsor obligations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct comprehensive beverage training for Legends' F&B teams
• Manage online training programs and support certifications
• Partner with preferred vendors for on-premise training sessions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and Legends' alcohol regulations
• Oversee implementation of corporate beverage programs and tailor local offerings
• Develop beverage recipes with clear instructions for operational execution
• Collaborate with vendors and marketing teams on beverage concepts
• Set pricing and manage pour costs to meet profitability goals
• Create comprehensive presentations for new beverage programs
• Provide operational teams with tools and procedures to manage beverage costs and maximize profitability
• Establish and track KPIs to measure and improve beverage program performance
• Implement standard operating procedures for cost efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Monitor pricing strategies and adjust based on sales trends and market analysis
• Manage high-end spirit and wine allocations across venues
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and sponsors
• Ensure beverage programs balance sponsor partnerships with guest relevance and operational flexibility
• Conduct market research for competitive pricing and innovative product offerings
• Maintain detailed records of supplier and sponsor relationships using technology platforms
• Serve as a liaison with the VP of Beverage for property openings, program launches, and staff training
• Actively communicate with location management for smooth operations and elevated guest experiences
• Collaborate with culinary, marketing, and operations teams for cohesive food and beverage programs
• Support venues by providing templates for events and activations
• Assist clients in sourcing specialty items or gifts
• Integrate sustainable practices into beverage programs
• Develop innovative non-alcoholic and low-ABV offerings
• Leverage technology and analytics tools to monitor consumption trends and optimize brand mix

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
• Extensive knowledge of alcohol laws and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated leadership and customer service skills
• Proven track record of building and motivating successful teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing supplier and sponsor relationships and driving measurable results
• Proficiency with accounting policies, POS systems, and beverage cost management
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with culinary, marketing, and operations teams
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create and manage new initiatives
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
