Assist with ticketing operations for concert venues in the New England/Upstate NY Region, focusing on day-to-day Box Office management at Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) during Live Nation promoted shows. This role involves staff supervision, event management, and financial duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage the box office at SPAC during Live Nation promoted shows
- Serve as a ticketing contact for assigned events and locations
- Develop strong working relationships with promoters, staff, guests, and partners
- Partner with Box Office Manager on training, scheduling, and supervision of personnel
- Ensure Box Office staff adheres to company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal and external personnel to address ticketing needs
- Manage nightly Box Office operations including ticket sales, reporting, and problem resolution
- Create a positive and collaborative working environment and maintain staff morale
- Ensure the ticketing department delivers exceptional customer service
- Facilitate open communication within the Box Office and other venue departments
- Partner to build and maintain events in ticketing software
- Monitor ticket inventory and collaborate on dynamic pricing
- Partner on reconciliation, deposits, and daily financial reporting
Requirements
- Proven experience in box office or ticketing management
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Demonstrated proficiency in cash handling
- Strong leadership, management, and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in live event operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in box office or ticketing management
Nice to Have
- In-depth knowledge of ticketing systems, especially Ticketmaster Host, Archtics, AccountManager, and the TM1 product suite
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational abilities, including prioritization, multitasking, and time management
- Professional communication skills and email etiquette
