About This Role

This role involves actively engaging with customers in-store, achieving sales goals, and providing exceptional service to help customers design products that fit their style and space. It also includes overseeing store operations like inventory and merchandising, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with customers using Lovesac selling techniques
  • Achieve personal sales goals and key performance indicators
  • Provide attentive service and build customer loyalty
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and effectively demo, assist, and educate customers
  • Guide customers from interest to purchase, managing quotes, closing sales, and maintaining relationships
  • Conduct customer outreach using company tools and communication methods
  • Quickly identify and resolve customer issues to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Maintain a welcoming and visually appealing store by following visual merchandising standards
  • Oversee store operations including opening/closing, inventory, exchanges, marketing, and promotions
  • Utilize company tools, sales data, and reports to prioritize tasks and support daily operations
  • Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring standards, minimizing risks, and maintaining safety

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High-School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support, including CRM systems
  • Support Lovesac's omni-channel customer experience
  • Able to travel to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions and sensitive data
  • Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict
  • Able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds)
  • Routinely perform bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, crawling, climbing

Qualifications

  • High-School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
