This role involves actively engaging with customers in-store, achieving sales goals, and providing exceptional service to help customers design products that fit their style and space. It also includes overseeing store operations like inventory and merchandising, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Actively engage with customers using Lovesac selling techniques
- Achieve personal sales goals and key performance indicators
- Provide attentive service and build customer loyalty
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and effectively demo, assist, and educate customers
- Guide customers from interest to purchase, managing quotes, closing sales, and maintaining relationships
- Conduct customer outreach using company tools and communication methods
- Quickly identify and resolve customer issues to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Maintain a welcoming and visually appealing store by following visual merchandising standards
- Oversee store operations including opening/closing, inventory, exchanges, marketing, and promotions
- Utilize company tools, sales data, and reports to prioritize tasks and support daily operations
- Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring standards, minimizing risks, and maintaining safety
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support, including CRM systems
- Support Lovesac's omni-channel customer experience
- Able to travel to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions and sensitive data
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict
- Able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds)
- Routinely perform bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, crawling, climbing
Qualifications
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
