Project Manager - WTP/WWTP

About This Role

Lead and coordinate mechanical wastewater and water treatment projects from inception through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high quality standards and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of piping scopes across industrial, commercial, or mechanical construction projects
• Manage project schedules, budgets, manpower, and materials to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
• Oversee fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems
• Review piping drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and specifications to ensure accuracy and constructability
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, fabricators, and field teams to resolve design issues and maintain workflow
• Conduct site walks to monitor progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project standards
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and all project documentation
• Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address field challenges
• Ensure all piping systems meet code requirements, testing standards, and turnover expectations

Requirements

• Strong understanding of piping systems, fabrication processes, and installation methods
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and technical specifications
• Proven experience managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination abilities
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in fast-moving environments
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, OSHA, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
