Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. This role involves developing project plans, managing risks, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing site inspections.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from planning to execution
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary for successful completion
- Manage project risks by identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction management or a related field
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and methodologies
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with risk management and compliance standards in construction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction management or a related field
