Provide critical financial support for large customer projects by ensuring accurate logging and revenue recognition. Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve timely billing and cash collection.
Responsibilities
- Ensure projects are accurately logged and related revenue is recognized
- Review validity of orders for release and processing
- Work with project billers and collectors to ensure timely billing and cash collection
- Adhere to accounting controls and participate in quarterly SOX testing related to the completeness and accuracy of project population and financials
- Assist in month end, quarter end, and year end closing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years experience in a finance or accounting related role(s)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely
- Detail oriented, accurate and autonomous, able to meet deadlines
- Inquisitive and proactively seek opportunities for improvement
- Comfortable with communicating cross-functionally
- Ability to facilitate collaboration with internal finance team members as well as external business groups and customers
- Strong Excel skills, including Vlookups, Sumifs, pivot tables
- Finance and/or accounting knowledge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years experience in a finance or accounting related role(s)
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Oracle
- Familiarity with Salesforce
