Manage small-to-medium sized projects or programs within a surgical cancer care program, focusing on coordinating care for breast cancer and complex surgical oncology patients. This role involves leading project teams, managing risks, and ensuring stakeholder alignment to achieve program outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage small-to-medium sized projects/programs or components with multiple workstreams and strategic business goals across departments, functions, or regions
- Lead the work of project/program teams by coordinating and monitoring internal and/or external resources
- Monitor and identify project/program risks, issues, and trigger events by executing mitigation plans and strategies
- Monitor compliance of project/program activities by ensuring project/program plans and team members adhere to relevant policies and procedures
- Ensure the alignment, buy-in, coordination, and support of diverse stakeholders
- Assist with reviews of vendor performance levels, ensure service level agreements are met, and support contract negotiations with vendors
- Develop, analyze, and execute less complex project/program plans which include scope identification and management, schedule, inter-dependencies, and resource forecast
- Manage project/program financials for small-to-medium size programs
- Monitor project/program performance to ensure initiatives effectively deliver maximum long term value or benefit to the organization
- Communicate tough issues to stakeholders while maintaining an independent opinion, providing recommendations, delivering presentations, and providing reports
