Production Planner

About This Role

Responsibilities

• Establish, coordinate, and expedite the flow of work and materials within the assigned business unit
• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements
• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components
• Monitor work-in-progress and address any production delays or issues proactively
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records
• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
• Support capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production targets
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations
• Analyze, prepare, and issue production work orders and coordinate material requirements
• Analyze and issue purchase requisitions for assigned material according to MRP requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or supply chain coordination
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency with manufacturing software and ERP systems
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or supply chain coordination

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes
• Manufacturing experience (Hands-on a plus)
• Aerospace manufacturing experience
• ERP/MRP experience
