Product Demonstrator Part Time

About This Role

Execute in-store food and non-food product demonstrations, engaging consumers to effectively communicate product features and benefits, and maintain a professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented
• Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies
• Intercept and engage consumers, demonstrating products in a professional manner
• Maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements
• Proactively intercept, interact, and sell product to consumers
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances and knives
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
• Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution
• Access the internet, navigate company's electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms)

Requirements

• Ability to gain knowledge of products represented
• Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers
• Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances and knives
• Ability to maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
• Proficient in ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months' related experience and/or training preferred

Nice to Have

• Local Food handlers permit
