Field Event Sales Representative

About This Role

This role involves independently marketing Verizon products and services to communities, property managers, and owners. The specialist will plan and execute on-site events to engage consumers, drive sales, and build relationships, contributing to increased property penetration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with property managers and owners
• Engage consumers during on-site events to drive sales of products and services
• Achieve weekly and monthly sales goals, as well as event scheduling and activation goals
• Plan and execute on-site events
• Identify and execute additional marketing tactics
• Pre-promote events and offers
• Establish clear communication between clients, prospects, and internal client teams
• Perform administrative duties including event recapping, finance management, and product inventory

Requirements

• Ability to work independently
• Highly motivated, confident, and self-starter with a positive attitude
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Prior sales experience in related fields such as real estate, outside sales, business to business, retail or Telecom (ideal but not strictly required by wording)
• Strong work ethic
• Solid organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Reliable form of transportation
• Full time availability (may include some nights/weekends)
• Ability to lift up to 15lbs
• Proficient use of a Personal Computer and familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Daily access to the worldwide web with the ability to meet system requirements, printer and phone

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entry level with a high school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience.
