Product Demonstrator Part Time

About This Role

This role involves conducting in-store food and non-food product demonstrations, engaging with consumers, and maintaining product knowledge to effectively sell and promote items. The associate is responsible for preparing, serving, and breaking down product displays while upholding a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented.
• Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies.
• Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of products.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution.
• Utilize internet, company's electronic systems, and Microsoft Outlook to view assigned documents.

Requirements

• Ability to gain adequate knowledge of products.
• Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product.
• Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances.
• Ability to maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station.
• Ability to access the internet and navigate company's electronic systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entry level with one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred.
