Product Demonstrator

About This Role

This role is responsible for conducting in-store product demonstrations for food and non-food items. The associate will engage consumers, prepare and serve product samples, and maintain the demonstration area in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented
• Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies for demonstrations
• Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of products
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances and knives
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
• Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel
• Complete all on-line reporting requirements on the same day as Event execution

Requirements

• Ability to gain adequate knowledge of products
• Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer
• Ability to prepare and serve food samples
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work station
• Ability to use and navigate a personal computer or mobile device for applications and internal systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred

Nice to Have

• One to three months' related experience and/or training
• Local Food handlers permit
