About This Role

The Product Demonstrator is responsible for executing engaging in-store food and non-food demonstrations. This role involves acquiring product knowledge, preparing and serving samples, and maintaining a professional appearance to intercept and sell products to consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain adequate knowledge of products represented to effectively demonstrate them to consumers.
  • Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product being demonstrated.
  • Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using appropriate cleaning chemicals.
  • Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution and achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
  • Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
  • Utilize a personal computer or mobile device to access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, and use Microsoft Outlook to view documents.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
