Product Demonstrator

About This Role

Conduct in-store food and non-food product demonstrations, engaging with consumers and maintaining product knowledge. This role prepares and serves products while upholding professional standards within a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented
• Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies
• Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances and knives
• Maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements
• Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy
• Accurately prepare and submit all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution
• Access the internet, navigate company's electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents

• Ability to gain adequate knowledge of products
• Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumer
• Ability to effectively communicate product features and benefits
• Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances and knives
• Ability to maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance
• Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device for applications and internal systems
• Local Food handlers permit may be required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entry level with 0-3 months experience and/or training preferred
