Product Demonstrator

About This Role

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, and professionally interacting with consumers to showcase products. This role ensures products are prepared, served, and displayed according to standards.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented
• Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies
• Intercept and engage consumers, demonstrating products in a professional manner
• Effectively communicate features and benefits of products
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
• Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy
• Accurately prepare and submit all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution

Requirements

• Aptitude to gain knowledge of products
• Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer
• Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small kitchen appliances
• Ability to maintain a clean, sterile and safe work area
• Proficient in ability to use and navigate a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entry level with 1-3 months related experience or training preferred.
