About This Role

This role involves conducting in-store product demonstrations for food and non-food items. The Associate will engage consumers, prepare and serve product samples, and maintain a professional appearance and workstation.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented
  • Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product
  • Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances like microwaves, fryers, skillets, and coffee makers
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements
  • Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution
  • Achieve 100% execution on assigned work
  • Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives
  • Complete expense reports as per Company Policy
  • Accurately prepare and submit all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution
  • Access the internet, navigate through company's electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents

Requirements

  • Ability to gain adequate knowledge of products represented
  • Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate product features and benefits
  • Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances and knives
  • Ability to maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance
  • Proficient in ability to use and navigate a personal computer or mobile device using applications and internal systems

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months' related experience and/or training preferred
