Product Demonstrator

About This Role

This role involves conducting in-store food and non-food product demonstrations, engaging with consumers, and maintaining product knowledge to effectively promote sales.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented
• Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies for demonstrations
• Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements
• Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy
• Accurately prepare and submit all on-line requirements on the same day as Event execution

Requirements

• Aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of products represented
• Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner
• Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances and knives
• Ability to maintain a clean, sterile and safe work station using cleaning chemicals
• Ability to access the internet, navigate through company's electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Entry level with one to three months' related experience and/or training preferred
