About This Role

Enforce state laws, investigate suspicious activity, and ensure public safety within a multi-cultural university environment. This role involves patrolling campus, managing traffic, making arrests, and testifying in legal proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all state laws and respond to violations
• Investigate suspicious activity and respond to law enforcement calls
• Patrol campus via vehicular and foot patrol
• Manage traffic and ensure public safety
• Make lawful arrests and testify in legal proceedings
• Protect persons and property
• Complete police reports
• Assist other law enforcement agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or other related field
• Pennsylvania Act 120 certification prior to appointment
• Valid PA driver’s license
• Safe driving record
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and firearms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or other related field from an accredited college or University
• No experience required; combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
