About This Role

The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations, including financial performance, guest satisfaction, and compliance with regulations. This role involves providing pharmaceutical care and leading a team of pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests entering the pharmacy area
  • Maintain integrity of pharmacy operations within legal and company policy frameworks
  • Ensure completion and compliance of pharmacy goals, tasks, and standards
  • Maintain open communication with pharmacy staff for growth, development, and compliance
  • Oversee all pharmacy operations including dispensing, counseling, scheduling, and supervision of technicians
  • Manage pharmacy team members, participate in clinical programs, and oversee inventory
  • Monitor patients’ drug therapies for effectiveness and safety, making recommendations for adjustments
  • Stay informed about new drugs and developments through continuing education
  • Lead and supervise pharmacists, technicians, and other support staff
  • Partner with pharmacy operations team and store leadership for integration of pharmacy services
  • Responsible for preparation, upkeep, and outcomes of pharmacy audits

Requirements

  • BS in Pharmacy and/or PharmD Degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy
  • Active and in good standing pharmacist license issued by the Board of Pharmacy of the state(s) in which you are practicing
  • Preceptor by the State Board of Pharmacy
  • Excellent problem solving and management skills
  • Basic accounting and computer skills
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations including medication dispensing, inventory management, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and some holidays

Qualifications

  • BS in Pharmacy and/or PharmD Degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy

Nice to Have

  • Retail pharmacy experience

Certifications

Immunization certification from accredited organization within first 90 days (Required) Active CPR certification within first 90 days (Required)
