Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

About This Role

Deliver excellent customer service and assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and managing pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide efficient checkout service
• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with regulations
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Process voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and maintain records
• Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, including entering patient and drug information
• Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow and report prescription errors immediately

Requirements

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of store inventory control
