Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

About This Role

This role primarily focuses on providing a delightful customer experience and assisting the pharmacist with various tasks, such as processing prescriptions and managing inventory, in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide efficient checkout service
• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient/drug information and process prescriptions
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Recommend items for sale and process voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges
• Perform duties including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
• Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow
• Report prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adhere to Company policies

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
• Good math skills
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of store inventory control
