Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

About This Role

Provide a distinctive and delightful customer experience by registering sales, assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, and resolving customer issues. Engage with customers, process transactions, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive customer experience
• Register sales on assigned cash register, providing efficient checkout service
• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient/drug information and process prescriptions
• Engage customers, greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Recommend items for sale and suggest trade-up/companion items
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Qualifications

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of store inventory control
• PTCB certification
