Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

About This Role

Deliver excellent customer service in a pharmacy setting, processing sales, handling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, and assisting with various store and pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide efficient checkout service
• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Recommend items for sale to customer and recommend trade-up and/or companion items
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records
• Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and Store Manager
• Report prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to Company policies

Requirements

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Prior work experience with Walgreens
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling
• Good computer skills
• Knowledge of store inventory control
