This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions accurately, and supporting pharmacy operations to ensure a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Register sales on an assigned cash register and provide efficient checkout service to customers
- Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
- Recommend items for sale to customers, including trade-up and companion items
- Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status
- Report prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty
- Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, maintaining inventory and records
- Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise
Requirements
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
Nice to Have
- Six months of experience in a retail environment
- Prior work experience with Walgreens
