About This Role

The Payroll Clerk will report to the Controller and be the primary point of contact for all payroll processing and related inquiries in this interim temporary role. The ideal candidate will manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll and handle all payroll-related inquiries
  • Process wage garnishments and payroll deductions
  • Ensure payroll files are properly documented and maintained in compliance with company policies
  • Work alongside senior accountants to ensure general ledger accuracy

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 2-3+ years of equivalent payroll or accounting experience
