Assist patients with meal selections, assemble and deliver trays, and ensure timely and accurate meal service as part of the caregiving team at an OhioHealth care site.
Responsibilities
- Complete patient meal orders, assemble, distribute, and retrieve meal trays in a timely manner to ensure patient satisfaction
- Maintain clear and accurate communications with dietitians, nursing staff, and all OhioHealth associates
- Professionally interact with patients, visitors, and associates to meet or exceed service standards
- Clean and stock work stations, pods, and kitchen areas as assigned
- Use computer software systems to enter preferences, print reports, labels for nourishments, and diet order change sheets
- Prepare and deliver nourishments, floor stocks, late trays, and record temperatures of unit refrigerators
- Assist in other areas of the department as needed
Nice to Have
- HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school
- Valid work permit for 16- and 17-year-old individuals without a high school diploma or GED
