This role is responsible for providing patient meal service within the Department of Food and Nutrition at Parkland Health Center. Duties include menu selections, tray assembly, delivery, and communication with the patient care team to ensure nutritional well-being.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient meals to assigned areas
- Document meals and calorie intake
- Round on patients according to department expectations
- Assemble meal trays and menus according to guidelines
- Communicate patient diets, meal delivery, and special requests with the patient care team
- Maintain an organized and stocked galley
