Supply Distribution Tech

About This Role

Oversee the daily management, receipt, and distribution of materials such as supplies, equipment, and linen for multiple departments within the hospital and network. This role ensures efficient supply chain operations within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt functions, verifying correct items, quantities, and processing receipts in the inventory management computer system
• Tag, label, and stage items for delivery
• Review reports and collaborate with department staff to adjust par levels
• Coordinate opportunities for improvement and maintain the standardized community supply model
• Provide daily oversight of material functions, ensuring a safety-focused environment compliant with BJC, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards
• Perform housekeeping functions in supply rooms
• Process stock and non-stock orders in inventory management systems
• Coordinate with procurement to resolve order issues, discrepancies, match exceptions, recalls, and returns to vendor
• Aid in training, mentoring, and developing new Supply Technicians
