This Patient Care Tech role provides direct patient care within a MedSurg unit, working under the supervision of licensed clinical staff to support patients across their lifespan.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle
- Demonstrate competency with treatments appropriate to the clinical setting
- Demonstrate competency with procedures appropriate to the clinical setting
- Demonstrate competency with equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Entry Level work experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Entry Level Required, 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
Nice to Have
- 1 year of patient care experience
- Certification from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program
Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
