Patient Care Nursing Assistant (PCNA)

About This Role

This Patient Care Nursing Assistant role is integral to providing quality patient care at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center's new patient care tower. The PCNA will perform various patient care activities and related services under the direction of licensed staff, providing compassionate care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform various patient care activities and related services under the direction of the licensed staff
• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Take and record vital signs
• Assist patients with feeding
• Assist patients with bathing and dressing
• Provide mouth care to patients

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills
• BLS certification

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience providing direct customer service to customers or patients is strongly desired

Nice to Have

• 1 year of experience providing direct customer service to customers or patients
