Patient Care Nursing Assistant PRN

About This Role

The Patient Care Nursing Assistant (PCNA) at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center plays an integral role in providing quality patient care by performing various patient care activities under the direction of licensed staff. This role contributes to the mission of providing compassionate and effective care within a newly designed patient care tower.

Responsibilities

• Perform various patient care activities and related services under the direction of licensed staff
• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
• Take and record vital signs
• Assist patients with feeding
• Perform bathing and dressing assistance for patients
• Provide mouth care to patients

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• BLS certification (can be obtained during orientation)

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience providing direct customer service to customers or patients is strongly desired.

Nice to Have

• At least 1 year of experience providing direct customer service to customers or patients
