Environmental Services Aide

About This Role

This role involves performing various environmental services duties within the hospital to maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant healthcare environment, contributing to patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of Environmental Services duties in and around the hospital
• Support a pleasant, safe, and workable healthcare environment
• Promote patient satisfaction
• Assist with moves and set-ups to deliver service

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and understand English at an eighth grade level
• Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions
• Strong customer focus skills
• Knowledge of sanitation and infection control techniques
• Good organizational skills
• Knowledge of institutional equipment and supplies
• Ability to lift and move a minimum of 50lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for duration of an 8-hour shift

Qualifications

• High School education/General Education Development (GED) preferred
• Entry-level position. No prior experience required.
