The Parking Attendant will assist and direct guests to designated parking areas, ensuring efficient space utilization and orderly conduct. This role involves maintaining parking areas, preventing vehicle damage, and potentially collecting fees.
Responsibilities
- Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces safely and efficiently, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary
- Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space is utilized efficiently
- Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and vehicle or property theft
- Calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests (for some roles)
- Lift, position, and remove barricades and signage to open or close parking areas
- Participate in the venue’s sustainability program by conserving resources, preventing waste, and educating fans
- Partner with team members at the end of show to close the venue, including collecting recyclables and properly storing event equipment
Qualifications
- A high school diploma/GED preferred
Nice to Have
- Previous guest service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform duties in adverse weather conditions
